This tool will assist shippers in calculating the weight of their cargo along with the dimensions and total cubic measurement.

Upon making a booking with a haulier, agent or airline, the shipper will be instructed to confirm the exact gross weight and cubic measurement in order for the receiving party to organise their units loading plan. The shipping costs are calculated on the weight and sizes of the cargo.

Misdeclared figures can result in an increase in charges or the cargo not being shipped.

Project and out of gauge cargo has to be measured and weighed correctly in order to determine how the cargo will be loaded and stowed during transportation. The shipping costs are also calculated on the weight and sizes of the cargo.

Failing to submit the correct weight and measurements of any hazardous cargo can lead to severe fines and legal prosecution.
